Mrs. Nasiakos Appointed Full-Time Principal at McKenzie Elementary

The Wilmette Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Interim Principal Mrs. Dana Nasiakos as full-time principal of McKenzie Elementary School during the Board's regular January meeting.
"Mrs. Nasiakos has done a commendable job as principal," said Superintendent Dr. Kari Cremascoli. "Her knowledge, leadership and passion for education will serve McKenzie families and students well, both now and into the future."
Mrs. Nasiakos was named McKenzie Interim Principal in April 2019. Prior to that appointment, Mrs. Nasiakos spent two years as an assistant principal at Central Elementary School.
"Over the past six months, it has been my pleasure to serve the wonderful students, teachers and families of McKenzie Elementary School," Mrs. Nasiakos said. "On Monday, the Board of Education removed the interim designation from my title and officially named me the permanent principal at McKenzie. This decision, while humbling, is a testament to all that we as a McKenzie school community have achieved together in a very short time. I am thrilled to continue on as McKenzie principal and I look forward to many more years filled with laughter, joy, learning and growing for all."
