As we prepare for the weekend, District 39 would like to say Eid Mubarak to all of our students and families who celebrated the end of Ramadan this week. We hope that Eid-al-Fitr was a joyous celebration and that Ramadan was a time of beneficial self-reflection and spiritual renewal!
Parent Education Event
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Parent Education event, “Social Emotional Considerations in the Digital Era,” on Wednesday. The presentation provided information to assist parents with considering ways to support their children’s emotional growth during the digital era. Included were tips on some risks of technology on childhood emotional and social development, possible ways to manage these risks, the importance of the parent-child relationship, and how mentoring is crucial.
