Cancellations / Withdrawals

Tuition and fees are fully refundable for medical reasons or because of course cancellations.
In addition, a 50% refund of fees will be given for withdrawals before April 1st.
No refunds will be given after April 1st, 2021.
This practice is strictly enforced to allow staff recruitment and hiring. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.


Academic Camp: K-7th Register

Program Description: Students attending our Academic Camp program are seeking additional practice in reading, written expression or mathematics in a fun, engaging way. Additionally, classes will incorporate social emotional learning and community building throughout the session.

Learning Targets: Students will be grouped with other students with similar academic needs to allow targeted instruction. Instruction will focus on student needs and will include:

  • Reading and Writing: Students will focus on individual skills, explore and enhance reading skills through engaging stories and novels, and engage in writing while using graphic organizers to plan a variety of writing pieces.
  • Math: Students will revisit and review grade level skills to increase self-confidence in reading, writing and math with this lively interactive course! Students will focus on individual skills, as well as play math games, solve mathematical puzzles.

 

Classes: Please register for only 1 class per student. Waitlists may be utilized depending on enrollment, instructor availability, and space availability.

    • Tuition: $225.00 (includes $25.00 materials fee)
  • Academic Camp: Math (1.5 hours)
    • Tuition: $225.00 (includes $25.00 materials fee)
  • Academic Camp: Reading, Writing and Math (3 hours)
    • Tuition: $350.00 (includes $50.00 materials fee)
Program Dates: July 6th - July 30th
Days: Monday - Friday (July 5th is a holiday)
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (4th - 7th) - Highcrest Middle School*
    First Session: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
    Second Session: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
8:20 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. (K - 3rd) - Harper Elementary School*
    First Session: 8:20 a.m. - 9:50 a.m.
    Second Session: 9:50 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.

Review and Reinforcement: 1st - 7th (Teacher Recommendation Required) Register

Program Description: Students attending our Review and Reinforcement classes are recommended for attendance by teachers based on classroom performance, MAP test scores, and curriculum-based measurement. This program will focus on reviewing and remediating academic concepts from the previous school year to help ensure that students are ready for the next academic year. The classes will be in blocks; 1.5 hours for reading and language arts and 1.5 hours for math. Students who qualify for both reading and math would attend for 3 hours. Students will remain in their small, podded classes throughout the morning. This class requires pre-qualification based on student performance for enrollment.

Learning Targets: Students will be grouped with other students with similar academic needs to allow targeted instruction. Instruction will focus on student needs and will include a focus on remediating skill deficits and increasing confidence and competence.

Classes: Please register for only the class indicated by your child’s teacher/pre-qualification.

    • Tuition: $150.00 (includes $15.00 materials fee)
  • Review and Reinforcement: Math (1.5 hours)
    • Tuition: $150.00 (includes $15.00 materials fee)
  • Review and Reinforcement: Reading and Math (3 hours)
    • Tuition: $300.00 (includes $30.00 materials fee)

Extended School Year (ESY): PreK-7 (IEP Recommendation Required) Register

Program Description: Our Extended School Year (ESY) learning program serves students with IEPs in grades PK-7 that are found eligible by the IEP team, using criteria set by the Illinois State Board of Education. Students qualify for ESY services based on data showing significant regression of progress after breaks from school, severity of disability, and students who are in a critical stage of learning that cannot be interrupted. ESY services occur over a four-week period and are individualized to support each child in preventing regression on current IEP goals and objectives. Services are differentiated, and will be developed to meet the unique needs of each student. This class requires an IEP team recommendation for enrollment.

Learning Targets: Individualized for each student based on data from current IEP goals and objectives and may include:

  • Academic
  • Social Emotional/Behavioral
  • Speech and Language
  • Occupational & Physical Therapy

 

Classes: Please register for ESY. Your child will be placed in an appropriate grouping based on student needs.

  • ESY (3 hour block)
    • Tuition and fees $30.00 materials fee
  • LEEP
    • 4 Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
      • 9:10 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
      • Tuition and Fees: $30.00 materials fee

Enrollment: Enrollment in the ESY Program is based on IEP Team decisions. Parents of students who have been recommended for ESY services (based on the latest IEP team determination) will receive communication with instructions for indicating desire to participate in the recommended services.
