Daily Substitutes (teachers, nurses, cooks)
Location: Any/all of our six schools (applicant can select specific buildings)
Hours: Approx 8:15AM-3:30PM
Compensation: Teachers – $150/day; Nurses – $180/day; Cooks – $18.23/hour
Paraprofessionals (EC-Grade 8)
Paraprofessionals provide assistance and support to students and teachers in a variety of different ways and settings, including in/around the classroom.
Qualifications: Have a high school diploma or equivalent. More information about how to obtain paraprofessional licensure can be found here
Hours: Approx 8:00AM-3:30PM
Compensation: $19.61-$20.56/hour depending on applicant education level
Soccer Coach (Grades 7-8, co-ed team)
Candidate will serve as coach for co-ed soccer team of 7th- and 8th-grade students. Season runs from Aug. 24-Oct. 20 with a 14-game season plus conference tournament. All games and practices are one hour in duration. Practice times are reserved on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:20-4:20 pm at WJHS. Qualifications: Candidate will have a soccer background (as player or coach), understand the basic elements of soccer, be able to motivate junior high students, and be on time for practices and games.
Stipend: $2,450 for the season
Evening Custodians
Evening custodians provide a clean and safe environment while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
Location: Central/Romona; District Office (two separate positions)
Hours: Weekdays, 3:30-11 pm
Compensation: $19.38/hour
