Build Lifesaving Skills: Lifeguarding and CPR Training Opportunities Available! 

YWCA Evanston/North Shore is offering Red Cross certified Trainings for teens and adults in our community! Whether you’re looking to gain a valuable job skill, prepare for summer jobs, or want confidence in helping others in emergencies….these courses provide hands-on learning and nationally recognized certification by our skilled professionals. Participants can learn water rescue techniques and emergency response skills that prepare them to keep others safe in and out of the water. CPR certification is valuable for parents, caregivers, coaches, and community members alike.

YWCA Family Financial Wellness Fair

Bring the whole family to YWCA Evanston/North Shore for a fun, interactive Family Financial Wellness Fair! This FREE, welcoming event is designed to help families build financial confidence through hands-on activities, fun workshops, and access to helpful resources. Children and caregivers can learn about money together and find opportunities and resources to grow their money!

Onsite activities are available for both children and adults, and the chance to speak with our financial wellness staff and access support and resources. All are welcome to attend!

Families can also explore Savings for Success (S4S), our savings and rewards program! This program helps families start saving for their child’s education or training after high school. Families can also learn about Illinois Bright Start. See more below!
