Parent Education – Planning for New Trier
Mark your calendars for our next Parent Education event titled “Preparation for New Trier: A Freshman Perspective.” This in-person only event will be held next Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30 pm inside the WJHS Auditorium. A group of WJHS alumni and current high school freshmen will share insight from their first year of high school, addressing how they manage the academic workload, making new friends in a bigger pond, and sharing things that they wish they had known on day one. There will also be an open Q&A session for your questions. No registration is required for this event. Please
visit our D39 Parent Education webpage for our full 2025-26 schedule as well as recordings from previous events.
Registration for the 2026-27 Academic Year
Registration for the 2026-27 school year remains open! ALL students, including those already attending D39 schools, must register for the 2026-27 academic year. If you have not done so already, please register your child(ren) as soon as possible. Your completed registration helps us plan for class placement and staffing, and ensure we are able to hire the very best teachers around!
• For returning students,

• For students new to D39,

Elementary School Parent/Teacher Conferences
Families with children in elementary school, please save the dates of March 26-27 (Thursday-Friday) for spring parent/teacher conferences. These conferences offer a wonderful opportunity to nurture the important family/teacher partnership in support of our students’ learning and growth.
We will continue to use the same platform as in recent years, however, Meet the Teacher has been rebranded as Tes’ Parent Meetings. Additionally, we have made one minor adjustment by designating specific time windows for virtual and in-person conferences. After you select your preference (virtual or in-person), you will be given the opportunity to select your time in the designated time window. If time slots for your preferred method of conferencing are unavailable, please contact your child’s teacher to make accommodations.
Families can expect to receive an email from D39 today with your log-in credentials. Online conference sign-up will open on Monday, March 9.
