The Board of Education annually approves student fees for each school year. Student fees in the areas of instructional materials, instrumental music, lunch, and athletics were approved at the Board's January 27, 2025 business meeting. The Board takes into consideration the annual cost increases related to the consumer price index (CPI) and the continued increase in cost for optional services when establishing student fees each year.
All fees are waived for students eligible for the free lunch program. Families that do not qualify for the free lunch program may qualify for a partial waiver. Please
visit our Financial Assistance page for more information on how to apply for a waiver or reduction in student fees.
Additionally, District 39 is proud to promote its D39 Angel Fund, a community donation-driven fund which helps families cover school fees and program costs. More information on the Angel Fund is provided below.
Note: The Board of Education will determine the transportation fee for the 2025-26 academic year later this spring.
